The Maternal League of Memphis is a benevolent and charitable organization established in 1935 to assist in meeting the needs of mothers and their newborn infants; to the end that all mothers may live and have no physical handicaps resulting from childbirth, and that all children may come into the world with sound minds and bodies.

The Maternal League of Women's Clubs was chartered as a charitable service corporation September 26, 1936, in the office of the Secretary of State in the state of Tennessee ...

We keep track of time and seasons of the year by using calendars that provide us opportunities to observe, & celebrate certain events.
